Intergenerational Trauma Therapy & Coaching

12 week Program [15 hours]

This comprehensive 12-week program is designed to help you gain deep insight into your patterns, heal unresolved issues, and build lasting psychological resilience.

Over the 12 weeks you will journey through the following 4 phases. Each phase will consist of a variety of sessions ranging from 1 to 2 hour session blocks depending on the activity.

The initial consult is a 1 hour session that will commence your Step 1 assessment phase.

Step 1: Assessment
The journey begins with a thorough background interview, assessment, and testing.

Step 2: Review & Preparation
A detailed overview of results and psychoeducation to prepare you for meaningful change.

Step 3: Treatment
Using evidence-based therapies like Schema Therapy, Gestalt techniques, image rescripting, and self-compassion work, we’ll guide you through targeted therapy sessions to shift deep-seated behaviours and beliefs.

Optional package: EMDR Therapy Package (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing) [8 hours]
EMDR is available if significant trauma is identified and remains symptomatic after Step 3. This can be purchased in additional to the 12 week program.

Step 4: Re-integration and further skills training
The program concludes with reintegration sessions focused on relapse prevention, psychological skills, and life coaching to support your new mindset and emotional health. This step will consist of three single hour sessions that will conclude the 12 week program.

Important notes: Subsequent sessions appointment times will be negotiated between you and the therapist. They will vary depending on the activity so please allow flexibility in your schedule.

16 week Program [22 hours]

Our 16-week program combines the transformative power of our 12-week program with a specialised 4 week EMDR program.

The format of this program follows the trajectory of the 12 week program, and also includes EMDR treatment. EMDR will be introduced during Step 3, which is around week 8.

EMDR treatment will follow this course:

Week 1:
We focus on mapping significant trauma events and understanding your present-day impact on your life.

Week 2:
We prepare you for EMDR by equipping you with essential skills and psychological resources to ensure a smooth process.

Week 3:
We begin EMDR treatment to target and reprocess traumatic memories, facilitating emotional release and cognitive shifts.

Week 4:
Providing aftercare and coaching to reinforce the new pathways created during treatment, empowering you to move forward with greater growth and resilience.

Important notes:

1. Subsequent sessions appointment times will be negotiated between you and the therapist. They will vary depending on the activity so please allow flexibility in your schedule.

2. Monthly instalments can be issued at the start of each month. The first instalment is due after the initial 1 hour consultation.

3. You may opt out at any time by giving a written 2 week notice in advance. An exit date will be negotiated between you and the therapist. Instalments paid in advance will be refunded pro rata.

4. You may be eligible for subsidies if you have a GP referred mental health care plan. Medicare eligibility and requirements apply.
