Fees
From the 6th of January 2026 our consultation fees will increase. This change is due to rising operating costs, regulatory and registration fee increases, and the need to retain skilled staff so we can continue delivering safe, high quality evidence-based care.
Appointments booked before 06/01/26 will be honoured at current fees; appointments booked after 06/01/26 will reflect the new fees.

Gap payments, Medicare rebates, private health extras?
For Individual Psychological sessions (Medicare rebate)
You do not have to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan in order to see us. However, a Mental Health Care Plan gives you a Medicare rebate that contributes $87.25 towards the full session fee. This makes it relatively affordable for many people.
If your General Practitioner has referred you with a Mental Health Care Plan then you are entitled with rebated sessions of up to 10 per calendar year.
- After payment for each session is completed, we will process the Medicare rebate for you. You can expect the rebate to your nominated bank account within 3 business days.

- Please check first with our admin team if you are eligible to claim a Medicare rebate as it does depend on the therapist you are seeing.
Private Health Insurance
- Our practice is not affiliated nor partnered with any specific private health companies.
- However, our therapists may individually be recognised and accepted by your private health policy.
- We advise that you first check if your health policy/extras cover supports mental health/psychological services provided by an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker or a Certified Counsellor with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
- After payment for each session is completed, we will provide you with a paid invoice that should include all the necessary details. It will be your responsibility to submit the claim with your private health provider.
Other Fees
Late cancellations
- Your session time is set aside especially for you when you make each booking. That is why we ask that you provide at least 2 business days notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows time to book in someone else who might be waiting to see us. However, if you cancel in under the requested timeframe it is unlikely that at short notice someone else can be fitted in. Late cancellation fee: $90
Non-attendances
- Not showing up to your booked session will incur the charge of the full session fee. We will attempt to contact you on the same day but if there is no response within 2 business days we will not continue to call. You are always welcome to make another booking with us at any time in the future.
